There's poll website that uses the cell phones feature of texting to create a resultant percent of how many people answer the question with a yes, no, true or false answer. This could show great potential in classes where people who may be too shy or disabled can respond to a question.
Although currently, we have a no cell phone policy not letting us use these cell phones because of texting between peers in classes. In some Universities, there is a clicker to answer some questions but you have to buy the clicker which costs around fifty dollars. After using the clicker it will be useless, i think it would be more efficient if students use their cell phone to text the answer because basically everyone has a cell phone. So the arugment still stands, can cell phones really be used in class?
